The Latent Minhocão seminar focused on speculative imaginations for the future of the Minhocão, São Paulo’s elevated expressway. Using generative AI , students explored the Minhocão as a site for architectural experimentation, producing images that ranged from utopian and ecological futures to critical and satirical interventions. The course framed design as a dialogue between human and machine intelligence, where speculative imagery becomes a tool to rethink urban realities, envision alternative possibilities, and question how the city is—or could be—inhabited
